Dr. Chris joins the Flying Doctors early in the beginning and stays for a couple of seasons. She is a serious person and good friends with Kate. Chris has an affair with a man who, as she finds out, already has a wife and children. Chris and Dr. Tom have a constant romance going on and in episode "The Good Book" they both leave for Africa!
